Re-arranging Chapters

There are three ways to rearrange the chapters in your manuscript:

  1. From the chapter zoom level
  2. From the left navigation on the document page
  3. Through the chat

From the chapter zoom level and the left navigation, you can re-arrange the chapters in your manuscript by dragging and dropping them. Re-arranging them will update the placement of the prose in those chapters in your manuscript and will also re-arrange them in your insights reports.

You can also ask the chat to swap or rearrange chapters for you.

Using Drag and Drop​

You can use drag and drop to re-arrange them by holding down on a chapter and moving it to one of the blue drop targets.

Using Keyboard Navigation​

Alternatively, you can use keyboard navigation to re-arrange them:

  1. Tab to the chapter you want to move
  2. Press the space bar to enter drag and drop mode
  3. Use the arrow keys to move the selected item up or down
